4. Icebreaker; Classification is Auxiliary. Terrain modifying abilities will not be accepted. However a token ability that can be referenced by house rules or later interactions will be considered.
I think it should be aux and a sub class Icebreaker. The card says nothing more than that so “down the track” if some makes ice rules they can include icebreaker into it.
She probably needs a movement or deployment SA and some manner of guard or escort SA.
The 2 largest finnish ships have coastal deployment, possible option for consistency.
An general rather than specific guard/escort option is probably preferable. Defend cripple perhaps.
Rather than something ice related, what abput just ram? Its a bit of a nod, and if a homebrew ice rules set appears there a handful of other ships that would also function. Rather than just this ship. Ahistorical, but better in a gameplay perspective
What about an ability like desperate ram that doesn't sink Jääkarhu, but only does one damage to it? (And maybe also has a chance of missing, since the icebreaker was rather slow to be ramming with impunity)

This is how I see it. Aux (icebreaker)leave it like that.
How about this. Leading the attack 1. - this unit and one other local unit may no be 1 after set up but before the game starts
I just dont see how this improves the unit. Yes, you can reference it for homebrew ice rules. But you can already do that with either special abilities or simply listing applicable units. It rehashes thr bunfight over me262 being a jet or a fighter. In that one it erred on the existing. I think the same should apply here.
I have no resevations about lead the attack, if anything its on the modest side of SA possibilities

For sure I think Jääkarhu should have a SA regarding the fact that it was never hit in combat. So near miss would be nice to see. The second SA I feel should be something with escorting other Aux. Ships since that what it did during the war too. Maybe an ability where if another Aux. vessel is in the same sector as it, enemies have to fire on the Jääkarhu first. Forgot which SA that was but I know we have one like that.
