It's been a while since I last posted here. Haven't played in about a year and a half, two years maybe now. Left all my ships and collection up in New England when I moved down to Texas, but I just got a 3d printer and have been spending the last 24 hours printing as much as I can find. So far I've mostly been running with Ghukek's freebie STLs from wargaming3d, but hopefully I'll be buying some soon to expand my horizons. Ghukek, if you're on here, I love those files, thank you so much for them!
My big question is, are there any other quality 1/1800 (or 1/900 for planes) STL files available elsewhere? I'm a fan of variety and wouldn't mind a few more modern vessels to play with.
As an aside, here's what I've successfully printed so far!
I haven't really looked for free stls, but you can search Thingiverse...here's a quick search on "ww2 ship": link
some might be 1/1800
Thanks! Didn't see much, but I can play around with cad and scaling. Not necessarily looking for free, either, I'm planning on buying the Big Set from Ghukek soon, so I'm willing to pay!

When you buy the Ghukek's big set, ensure it's from the Wargaming3d site; I bought it from the CGTrader site and have to ask him for the updated files.

Hey jdagee, I know I've been a bit slack at times for new files up on CGTrader, but my current policy is to upload to both sites. At any given time you should be able to download the full collection. I don't want to leave folks like you who have been supporting me from early on in the dust.
With that being said, I do prefer people buy from Wargaming3D, and I price my collection accordingly on both sites.
I have a question for you. The WWII warship collection does NOT include Minotaur, Worcester, Des Moines, etc, right? I'm looking to get those but don't want pick them up individually if they're in the collection.
And thanks for all the freebie files, they're fantastic!

That is correct, these ships are not WWII ships. Eventually I mean to put them in a collection of their own but haven't yet.
ghukek, is the V class the U/V class or the V/W class from WW1? It looks a little more like the V/W class, just want to check for class limit purposes.
I've printed the Kongo, Nagato, Leander, Lusty, QE, and some Omahas so far, these are great models!

I'm not sure, I'll have to check my files. If it looks like the V/W it probably is.
