Since AAAF doesn't have a WWI option, I wondered if any Foruminians have tried Wings of Glory WWI. I'm thinking about a First World War aerial game, but want something relatively unencumbered by complicated rules.

I have Wings of War/Glory WWI, and enjoy it very much. It’s easy to learn, easy to teach others, and fun to play. I especially like that movement and firing is truly simultaneous. I also appreciate the game mechanics of the damage card system - not being able to tell how much damage (and sometimes even what kind of damage) your attack did adds a lot to the experience. It’s a “win” in my book!
The rules and accessories pack and the fan-made “Knights of the Air” campaign can add a lot of optional depth, if desired.

I was thinking about dusting off Aces High and using the WoG aircraft instead of counters...
