MALTA CONVOY SCENARIO
This is a modified version of the standard convoy scenario.
THE THREE ROUTES 1.) Green Route: Gibraltar to Malta by the coast of Africa. 2.) Blue Route: Gibraltar to Malta by the coast of Sardinia. 3.) Red Route: Suez Canal to Malta.
THE CARGO Use the stats for cargo vessels as listed in the convoy scenario, but with vital armor 6 instead of vital armor 4.
THE ROYAL NAVY The UK is the convoy escort group. The UK player takes the following steps:
1.) Choose one hundred points worth of commonwealth units. 2.) Choose one of the three routes in secret and write down your choice.
THE REGIA MARINA The Italians are the convoy interceptors. The Italian player takes the following steps:
1.) Choose two hundred points worth of italian units. 2.) Assign each one of your selected units to one of the three routes in secret and write down your choices. For example, if you choose four Littorio battleships, you could place two on the green route, one on the blue route, and one on the red route.
THE BATTLE Each side reveals their unit and route choices. The italian player uses the units he assigned to the route the UK player has chosen. Then play the scenario normally.

Brought this old variation of the convoy scenario over because I am thinking about trying it out. I am curious what people think of the concept. We have a big table this is almost 2 maps wide if we want to set them up. Would this scenario be best played on the big table?
