You didn't mention Soviet Conscripts, Siberian Shock Troops, Guards Infantry or the like. I have four Mosin-Nagants and two Soviet-Polish Infantry, but hardly worth the shipping for six figures.
You are correct & I also failed to mention the rest of the Russian Soldier types, my bad. Considering that Russian infantry is for the most part "Command Dependent" & MG'a, LMG's along with ATG"s among other things, I reckon I should have just said anything Soldier/Atiillery & Commanders. I also realize that the Vet. NCO. is the best overall & quite rare & pticey. Certainly more than 1 of any type Commander would be needed. The infantry you mention there, Guards & Shock Troops are even more valuable. I have some of each but would also like more. I use the Formations for games quite often & about 10 to 12 of each infantry type is sort of my minimum amount of foot sloggers for all, more when possible. I use the 3 system, 3 Squads=1 Platoon, 3 Pltoons=1 Company, 3 Companies=1 Battalion. Some countries have battalions, some at least companies but plenty for some large games.
All that said, I guess what I'm seeking is out there now, so any & all help is appreciated. It is for a new player to gaming but is interested to learn.
Like the title says, I'm seeking Russian Infantry & other Soldier type units for a set I'm assembling for good friend. I've picked through my collection for spares & extras for most other countries in the "Big Six" of countries in the game, Ger, Jpn, Ity, USA, UK, USSR. Vehicles are easier these days with 3D prints & other alternative sources. I've made a decent Starter Set so far but could use help with these units, 5-6 or so of the different tyoes.
If anyone can help with some Russian Infantry mainly, Mosin-Nagant, PpsH 41, Soviet/Polish or whatever you might be willing to make a deal for.
Congrats locksrule. Enjoy them & may they serve long & well.
Looking forward to the "Big Thing" a'comin in the future & as per you waiving the 6 month rule, your give away of cool thing so I reckon you make the rules any way & anytime you want. I'm sure we are all appreciative & thankful for this great event you do for the forumunians.
More good info. I will also "House Rule" that Chinese infantry can be treated as "Green" regarding being Disrupted. I also have a fairly generous "Lend/Lease" or "Buys" that historically occured with China. WotC didn't really give them much help or chance in the design.
Indeed it is a Biggie but it is also a beauty. The Axis powers did have some good looking aircraft, I'm sure we can all agree on this & the Allies had some beauties as well. Treasures that need preserved.
I'm glad we have a Commenorative (Confederate) Ait Force Wing locally here in Mesa. Sadly they suffered some building & aircraft damage during a storm over the winter. Currently closed but doing repairs, so wish them well to "Keep 'Em Flying!".
