All, I just got a "warning shot" from Photobucket that I have to upgrade from my current $2.99 per month to a $60.00 per month plan to maintain my linking. So I will have to move all my images to a free site. I mostly only have images for the Forumini on Photobucket, but that is a very large number of images on this site! As a few of you know, I have been waaay too busy lately managing (ie doing all the work) a 7.5 acre vineyard with a friend, and it is the middle of harvest right now. Harvest will be over in two weeks, but it will take awhile for me to move all those images and update all those links. So don't be surprised if my images suddenly go down for awhile. I will prioritize getting all the Forumini "Sea God" deck images restored in the main Discussion forum.
Sooo, what free sites did you guys find to be the best?

I'm very happy with postimages.org and I found it because that's what Brigs is using. You don't even actually have to have an account to post images from them; I've done 3 games worth of maps without logging in. The only caveat I know of is that it's a lot easier to categorize your images as you go and hard or maybe not possible to do so later.

I've been using postimages.org since this whole photobucket thing started as well. It's really straight forward and has no annoying ads coming at you from all sides. I agree tho, make your galleries and put your pics in the right place the first time. So far the only way I've found to fix them is to delete them out of the wrong gallery and reupload them into the correct one. Make sure you're in the correct gallery when uploading. I'm probably making this sound harder than it actually is tho.

Good luck with the move.
Say, where is your vinyard?
Vineyard is about 15 miles north of Des Moines, IA. We are managing the vineyard for the winery owners. They have become to old to manage the vineyard and were happy to rent it to a couple of ignorant retired agronomists. The winery is managed by employees and family members. We just grow the grapes. It has been a great experience, and it is very peaceful out there.

I gotcha. My wife is from Jefferson so kinda familiar with the area. Beautiful country.

Are you the one that maintains the pics for the forumini wiki page, too? I was just there the other day and noticed all the card images there were hosted on photobucket and are now gone.
Also, FWIW I have used Flickr for my personal photo hosting for years, but I do not host a large number of photos at one time so I'm not sure how it would work for a high demand situation.
I have not been involved with the Forumini wiki page, but I am not surprised the images have disappeared. I don't know who established and maintained that page.
I have decided to try out PostImage. I do wonder how they are funded which makes me worry about their longevity. But free is free. (for now.)

I don't know who set it up but I was part of the guys that updated it for the sea gods decks. I used image links from the forum, so it's likely they're gone. I anyway downloaded all pictures, so I could rehost them on imgshack and fix the wiki, but that'll be some amount of work before it's all fixed

Thanks, commandersam.
I've actually got hard copies of all the forumwiki card decks, but the website is just such a quick, convenient resource for looking things up it would be a shame to lose so much of it.
As of October 12th my photo bucket account still allows me to add new photos and link them to this site without paying for the upgrade mentioned in the emails. If need be I will switch my photos elsewhere but for now I will continue to use photo bucket for posting and linking pictures.
