I need to know by Monday at the latest to ship this in time to the convention. On the trenches...the M44 stands will overlap a bit on the straight pieces, and the curves...okay with the "Y". I have this one set to offer.
Hello,
Last call on this set...asking $40 when picked up from MaizeCon. The set will have a few extra things as well. I would need to ship on Monday to arrive in time.
thanks for looking!
I'll have some Starter sets, and the Russian Grain Factory available to the first 25 people interested in them as a give-away.
Maize-con was another great success. I want to thank everyone for attending. We had 26 total attendees. Special thanks goes to Sgt. Fury for his wonderful "Strike North" scenario. I know Sgt. Fury put a tremendous amount of work and effort into this and it was an excellent group of games. I would highly recommend down loading the maps and scenarios from Sgt. Fury's web page and giving these a go.
Gamers from the fourms in attendance were:
Ober
Dano
Carrion
Audacity
Firehouse
Sgt. Fury
CO1911
Thor711
Audacity put on a wonderful Bolt Action scenario using AAM minis which was enjoyed by all. We hosted the "Battle of Hannaut", an early war French/ German scenario put together by members of our local gaming group. We also put on a "Retro AAM" Tournament. This involved players building 2 armies (Axis & Allied) using just AAM pieces with the 15 unit/100 point limits. No custom cards or units were allowed and was played as the game was intended when it was introduced.
We had a new group of local players join us also. This group played a game called "Guild Ball" from Steam Forge Games. It is a steampunk era soccer game between to faction teams. They hosted a tournament with 7 players.
All in all, it was a great time and we'll be looking forward to the next one in October of 2020. Thanks again to everyone for all the support and efforts to make this a success.
Thanks to Maus for his tremendous effort to organize this event, Dano for his generous donation of snacks and drinks, Sgt Fury for his "Strike North" scenario, Audacity for his BA game, all the players who donated some great prizes, and everyone who attended and made us feel so welcome. Special thanks to Maus' wife who did so much to help our gamming experience and make sure we were never hungry. Great mini con with great friends. I hope to make Maize-con IV in 2020. "
