Can I change my choice? A foruminian member has made a Russian 85MM available for sale/trade. My new choice would be the same set, Counter Offensive, but the piece is the Japanese Type 88 75MM AA/ATG.
It's interesting seeing the pieces that people are after. I have commitments for the next couple of days, so won't be able to unbox these boosters until Monday. Will post the results then!

Yikes, another "meh" booster. What happened to the DUKWs, scout cars, half-tracks and Priests? At least there weren't any aircraft, but another Dingo? Really?
I was hoping for some decent items to gift to Foruminians, but not so much.
But let's make the best of a bad lot. For those who asked for items — Firehouse, armchair general, Stalker6, mnnorthstars, cavalrywolfpack, baltimore8, alienspacebat, Curt1911, Dogtank and Dano903 (yeah, I know you didn't ask for anything, but still), make a selection from the above list and PM me with your first choice and your second choice. That's 10 participants and 15 items. I have enough of each item in my collection to make good any multiple request from the list of 15 items above (exceptions are: the Greeks and the Croatian infantry, 'cause I don't have any, and the Dingo, Wespe and the Herrington, 'cause I only have one of each in my collection and I'm keeping them!). Requests will be fulfilled on the basis of the final request from each participant (If you were the third person to make a firm request, you get your first request filled before the fourth person to do so). I'll try to send at least two items, drawing from my collection. And I have enough "trade" material, that I have not posted for trade, that I can add something extra to each, so you'll get three units. What's in it for me? Just the satisfaction of enriching the Forumini community. Think of it as Secret Santa, early. Oh yeah, I need you to pay the postage. Postage is about $8 Cdn (about $6 USD) w/o tracking and insurance. I've never had trouble sending w/o tracking and insurance, although I do use it for big purchases. Note to Dogtank and Firehouse, I won't be at Broadsword: I'm going to Nottingham in September, and am saving my pennies for a visit to Wargames Foundry! So many 28 mms to buy, and so little budget! So I can mail your packet in a joint mailing if that works.

I'll pass on claiming any of the pieces for someone who may need them more. Thanks for the offer. At least you didn't pull planes, but that is an "awful" lot of armored cars. Not really sure why but the Marmon Herrington (Rare, but a minor country armored car) is one of the most expensive AAM pieces listed at Strikezone.

That's true: out of 15 units, four are armoured cars (including the indifferently sculpted and poorly painted, IMHO, Daimler Dingo). You'd expect that out of three boxes, you might get six infantry figs, and there are seven here. One artillery piece and one self-propelled gun (so, two arty). Out of three boxes, you might hope for three tanks, but only two here (or three, if you take a generous view of a Wespe). So, really lucky not to get any aircraft.

I looked up the Marmon on Miniature Market (my go-to place for prices) and then wondered what the dollar value was on each box. Based on MM pricing, North Africa came in as the least valuable, at $17.70. Early War (with the Marmon) was only 30 cents better at $18. The Counter Offensive booster, with the darned Dingo, weighs in at $25.40. Each booster cost about $10.50 (plus $6 to ship), so I got more value than I put into the purchase, but none of these were boosters to crow about.

Thanks Boomerbill. I'll pass on those units I have plenty of them all. Those are definitely "meh" boosters. But still fun to crack them open. Will you be joining us at FMGCON next month? I hope so.

I seem to be missing a lot of gaming conventions close to home, but I'll be missing FMGCON as well. I'll be at the Vimy Memorial in France when you are rolling dice. Will have seen Paris and Juno Beach, as well. A Euro-adventure.
