Thanks to eBay listings, which occasionally cough up a bargain. These two Bandits High boosters flew halfway across a continent. Two boxes, six aircraft: what are the odds that I'll find a gem in here.
BH #1:
1. D.520 Interceptor (Not one I have played a lot) 2. Fw 190D Dora (I'm debating a repaint) 3. Typhoon Mk 1B (Keeping this one for sure).
BH #2: 1. Ki-43 Oscar (I have so many of these, it's not funny) 2. Re.2001 Falco II (Not so many of these) 3. IAR 80A (an unusual aircraft. Again, I have not put it on the table often)
Not really a good record on these two boosters. I'm keeping one of the six, may repaint one and the rest are likely bound for my trade list. A Corsair, Stuka or Fulmar would have tipped the balance to "good", but this selection is just "average".
Those who don't remember their history are bound to do something or other...
I am still not convinced I will ever play that game - AAAir planes are used in AAMinis only - I especially like the small nations, so the D520, Re2001 and IAR would make this at least average too good boosters. Typhoon and Dora are never hated Worst piece IMHO is the KI-43 - worts Japanese piece in both sets

Such a fun game. Invest in some telescopic flight stands. The stands will change the game play dynamically. Thos OOB stands are good for picking your nose/ears.

Ha-ha! Yes, I have looked around online for telescopic stands. Any you would recommend?

They are flat magnets but pop in the plane holes nicely, the big starter planes too. As for the B-17's and other big or heavy planes, the screw-in one sare the way to go. be sure to get the little adaptors as well.
