I'm looking for hints and tips for a fun game of War at Sea.
A bunch of World of Warship players are going to have a BBQ and I had the idea to bring some Was along. Everybody picks one ship and we make two teams and play. Im looking for tips for playing. Like what to do with initiative and such. And teams. And everything else.
The ships chosen by the ppl so far: 1: Graf Spee / Prinz Eugen (or both) 2: Royal Oak 3: Arizona 4: North Carolina 5: Kaga with 1/1/1 load 6: Bismarck 7: Hood
I'd set up two objectives in the middle and assign teams based on balancing the points between them. This is how they play multi-player games at Gen Con, Origins, and other national events.

We've run a Battleship Royale before on the forum where everyone is out for themselves, but can form alliances with others. Online you can more easily rely on subterfuge to betray others and all attacks are declared simultaneously through PM, but it could still be a fun game. One map with everyone having a battleship starting in a random spot. Take turns shooting each other. Last one floating wins.

I made the game back on the old site. It actually works fairly well with my rules. It has the stats for each ships (that is you can figure them out with the stat generator).
I really tried to get the game endorsed by WGing but they never responded to my request.
Igaveplayed my game at a convention with aloof success so you should enjoy it.
Also there is no points in this game. Only tier. So basically a DD truest can take on a BB.
