What every Germany player needs is coming in the new WAS set, War At Sea: Fanboy Fantasies.

The mighty Der Furher's Wurst. 700,000 tons, 2000 ft long, 8 31.5" "Gustav" siege guns, 12 9" secondaries, and lots of lesser guns. I don't see any catapults for jet fighters. That needs to be corrected.

The "name" for this unit is H-45 ... I did not do it when I made the rest of the H-41 through H-44 cards because it had the least amount of credibility. However, since enough specifications are "known" ... it is possible to make the card.

As for getting the H-45 from Shapeways, let's see if we can get her "planned" dimensions. It's possible that a "FdG" in a different scale will be close enough for government work!? Bismarck/Tirpitz have one smoke stack, the bigger ones all have 2.

So, what are the H-45's dimensions?

Beam: 91 meters

So, if you use a 1:1800 scale fleet, a 1:1200 scale H-44 is ALMOST the right size!
Also, H-44 is already on Shapeways!
