A century ago the US finally joined the Great War - so I thought it might be a nbice idea to take the AAM game back in time and create a rules variant for 1914-1918.
AAM rules apply with the following modifications:
1. Defense does not differentiate between front and rear of a mini 2. There is no anti Vehicle attack-score, each Soldier has a "-1 to each die" penalty when attacking vehicles. 3. Artillery is a separate class of units (Artillery is not a Soldier) 4. Units attacking Soldiers in a trench (fortification) receive -1 to each attack die.
Sorry for the late reply - that would be Welcome armchair General.
I added French units (10 out of 20 Models from Airfix used / Germany 9 of 17)
Airfix models offer some more useful sculpts, but I am unsure how to use them...
Germany offers the following (additional) models:
useful: Soldier Running Soldier Marching Soldier Prone (not shooting) Soldier attacking with Rifle Butt Soldier using rifle as Club
not useful Soldier dead/wounded Soldier Surrendering Stretcher Bearers (Medics?)
Any suggestions? (Askari, Austrians, Bulgarians, Turks, Marineinfanterie, Mountain Troops ...)
The French:
useful: Soldier kneeling and Shooting (Belgian Soldier?) Soldier shooting down (fortress troop?) Soldier standing as guard Soldier running (sculpt 2) Soldier Prone (not shooting) (Mountain Troop?)
I currently have also Brits and US Troops from Airfix - which should I do next (I also have a 1/72 Female Tank and incoming UK Atry, so maybe I should wait for the Brits?)
Are there other nations I should give immediate attention - Belgium?, Serbia?, suggestions? Soldier - Bugler (NCO?) Soldier Flag Bearer (NCO?) Soldier carrying Backpack (Ammo Bearer giving some sort of Bonus if adjacent?)
