Lt Yukio Endo (pilot) and CPO Osamu Nishio (REO). Endo was the navy's top B-29 killer, his pioneering efforts in nightfighting helping the JNAF to develop tactics that eneabled fighters to engage the previously-invincible B-29s over Japan.
