This is an "operational" variant of Shigure. Having read Hara's book, Japanese Destroyer Captain, I feel this more accurately represents Shigure anyway. And she's long since been obsoleted by Hatsukaze in the "official" decks in any case.
In Japan, she was known as "the destroyer that fought like a battleship". Hopefully this is a 'better' version.

Destroyer Captain is a good read. I like this card!!!
Their ship their coffin The cruel dark sea their grave.
It's a BOGOF on tenders! - And two more minis to add to squints list.
I've looked at that destroyer captain book many times but the mixed reviews have always turned me away. Generally if a book that's not dirt cheap doesn't get overwhelmingly good reviews, I find it hard to pull the trigger and then put it before many others already in the cue.
"That's right son, join the navy. Get behind a bloody big gun and knock the hell out of somebody"
"We went out, got our arses kicked, then came back again"
Heavy, that one's been on my scratch list, and I will probably do a card someday. One thing SWO and I have learned in finishing up this deck... as Spock once said... "There are always possibilities."
