Hey guys! I was wondering if there was a custom card around for generic off-board artillery. I was tinkering with one, but after the first draft decided to lay it out to you guys for modification/input/etc. I didn't feel this version was sufficient, but have yet to playtest it. Please feel free to take and modify it, but please let me know your ideas!

There were several instances of it being discussed in the original Forumini. Snippersly started a thread on that very topic in July 2015 In the "AAM Scenarios and Houserules" sub forum. I know that a few folks have made custom cards for that, including thor711. I'm on a family vacation right now; I'll try to get back to you with more specifics in the next few days.

At first glance, I agree with almost all that you have listed.
Only a couple things I need to ponder some more:
(1) Not sure aircraft should be able to spot, unless you're specifically using a spotter aircraft in your scenario/game (yes, some folks HAVE made homemade spotter aircraft cards).
(2) I wonder if the offboard artillery should only be able to fire once every 2 rounds. I'd have to see what their rate of fire would be compared to, say an 88...
I had considered a "Ranging In" SA. Something to the effect of: At the beginning of each Assault phase, roll a die. On a result of 5 or greater, this unit may attack. Add +1 to this roll if the Spotting unit is within 4 hexes of the target. A result lower than 5 prevents this unit from attacking this phase. This unit attacks before other units during he assault phase.

I have some more resources for you.
(1) In Sgt Fury's "Atoll Invasion" scenario, he used Naval Bombardment as part of the sequence of play, AND he made a custom card for it. You can find all of this at: tsessler.weebly.com/atoll-invasion.html
As for the rate of fire, the Ranging In sounds like a good possibility. The only way you'll know is to try it out. My take on it is this....Assuming that the off-board artillery is something "bigger" than an 88 for example, there needs to be some way to account for the slower rate of fire. An 88mm could fire 15-20 rounds per minute compared to the 15 cm sFH 18, the standard German heavy howitzer of the war. That one could only be fired at a rate of 4 rounds per minute.
