OK guys, here is my next migrated thread from the old board.
US C1-M and IJN Type 1C (updated 1 Jun 13) aaminis.myfastforum.org/about29341.html Sun Nov 06, 2011 9:58 pm Sat Jun 01, 2013 11:29 pm Number 3 and 4. 5 will be RFA Bishopdale (Dale class fleet tanker)
Am hoping to get my vacuum pump in a couple of weeks and then get the casting chamber up and running. Mid December I am aiming for.
Quickie update
More than 6 months since the C1-M got some work. Forepeak (?), hatches and mast bases. I'm back. Briefly, but I'm back.
Oh, and the Type 1C is a bit further along too
A bit of progress on the C1-M
Masts fitted, guns installed. A coat of primer for a final check and that's C1-M finished. Now to finish the Type 1C, which I haven't touched for about 8 months!
Here's the C1-M with a bit of primer on. A little easier to see now.
And in company with the Victory and T2 tanker
Thanks for looking.
Looks like I'm back in the saddle (well back at the desk at least)
A bit of progress in the IJN Type 1C As ever, thanks for looking.
The finished Type 1C pictures that didn't make it to the original thread
Absolutely superb GV, the tankers are awesome, and the cutting mat gives us a good indication of scale too. Hitting one of those things with some explosive shells would be like the 4th of July right?
Nice work mate
