Have the Admins considered opening a Forum Photobucket account so we can transfer all the picture files and maps across from the old Forum?
Hi Striker, as we are uncertain about the long-term costs of the new forum, we have not started purchasing pro accounts yet. Regarding photobucket, I am not sure it is needed. If a picture on photobucket is linked in the previous forum, in the same way it can be linked in the new one.
By the way, I have just added viglink to see if it can generate sufficient funds to pay for pro accounts etc without becoming intrusive or annoying. I suspect it can't, but unless you have objections I intend to trial for a week. What it does is that it generates links, e.g., if we mention Amazon, then this become clickable. We'll see. Have never used it before.

Hi Neuraldream I was only concerned with files such as the Admirals cards, maps for online play and digital copies of the forum decks. Unless these files were link from Photobucket in the old forum which I didn't think they were. I wasn't suggesting members using the space to post but a place members could go to DL such files.
Couple things, the banner repeat is bugging me. I'm curious if that's just new forum, still learning/adapting the back-end, or if there's an opportunity for something else here. The other thing is I really miss having page navigation at the top & bottom of a multi-page thread. Yeah I got the floaty back-to-top thing, but next page should be right there when you finish reading the current one.
I might still have the original layers for the banner around here. Would be nice to update the images used behind the framing and text, hell the land images I gleaned off what people were posting on the forumini and they're obviously overexposed
