Here is one on the bombing of Port Darwin. This took place in 1942 and is call Australia's Pearl Harbor. Fun fact more tons of bombs were dropped on Darwin in this raid than at Pearl Harbor. Anyway here it is. (Its not late this time)

Sorry this is late last weekend was not easy on me. I had to work Saturday and Sunday and it was also the first anniversary of a friend dying. Thus it was not an easy weekend. Anyway here is part 19 on the Coral Sea. Not only that but this issue of SOTW in general did not turn out that well.

MERRY CHRISTMAS guys!!! Sorry I missed last weeks one. It was crazy leading up to the holidays so I had no time to do it. A few comments. Just like Santa has a little of everything in his bad so there will be a little of everything in this one. Second congrats to GVwalker he won the contest so HMAS Waterhen is in this one. Also sorry to ND if I messed up anything on the Greek Destroyer (Please don't haunt me in my sleep if I did). Finally sorry Sammy B does not look good because I did a terrible job on her.
Anyway here it is and Merry Christmas. Torpman

I am SOOO sorry about this delay. My computer has been randomly shutting down. (Not a virus ether I had that Checked) Thus it would kill what little progress I could get done in the free time as I am quite busy now with my job. Also I am writing another article this time on Balikpapan which also steals time from this. Anyway here it is and again my bad on the delay.

Here they are guys. The completed Scrap Iron Flotilla. HMAS Waterhen and Vampire have appeared earlier and are done. This completes the flotilla. Sorry about the delay again. Also next weeks will be delayed as I am going on the prolife trip.
Here it is as promised guys. A note on this one. I could not find a photo of the starboard side of HMS Queen Elizabeth. Due to the style of camo she is wearing I cannot say the port side is the same as hers is a lot like the camo carried by HMS Prince of Wales at the same time period. HMS Valiant I am 95% certain is the same on both sides and Barham I am 100% certain is the same on both sides.
Anyway I think I am losing you so here it is.

Thanks for publishing these color references. I didn't know that the cammo schemes were so colorful. I'm building some 3D models for a game and considering using some of these to get away from the same-old grey.
Regading your ABDA references for Tenedos and Stronghold, I'm curious about the 40mm Bofors note. The ships did have a 40mm Pom-pom just aft of the torpedo tubes but still retained their 4" anti-surface gun. Tenedos and Scout temporarily had their 4" gun and torpedo tubes landed so they could lay minefields near Singapore but were re-armed (as far as I can find reference, to their previous configuration) prior to war with Japan. Where did you find the info about the Bofors? The profile you show does show the 4" gun missing but nothing in it's place (it's at deck level, aft of the raised AA platform) and the position of the AA in that drawing is exactly where the pom-pom was located.
