The 79th Churchills on the move.
Hill 112, South West of Caen, 10th of July 1944.
About a month after D DAY The SS Frundsberg division, part of the SS IInd Corps was given the hard task of defending Hill 112, a high terrain overlooking the British landing zones. Control of this high ground was vital, for it also opened the road to the Seine river and to Paris. Just behind Hill 112 lay the last obstacle: the Orne river. Under a cloud of artificial smoke the 79th divison's churchills moved forward with their supporting infantry. Just behind them would follow the Shermans from 7th RTR.
On Hill 112, the 1Oth SS Frundsberg's grenadiers knew they could count on the last tigers from schwere SS batallion 102 (led that day by tiger ace SS-usha Will Fey- a mighty 88 kills!) to yet again break the british 43rd Wessex division's assault. Further South the Frundsberg's sister division, the SS Hohenstaufen was also gathering a Kampfgruppe ready for counter attack...

The german player can add 4 shellhole tiles. They must be placed adjacent to a mountain or river hex.
Shellholes give cover to infantry and tanks must pay one extra MP to cross. If placed on a road hex it negates any high gear SA.
Half hexes are not in play for this scenario.
The UK player has the initiative on turn one.
Line up:
the British:
Set up up to 3 hexes from the North Side of the map.
