Greens (heavily mixed, never used straight) Waaagh Flesh Warpstone Glow (usually toned down with the Celestra Grey and a hint of the yellow for UK camo)
Decking Skrag brown Flayed one flesh Karak stone
I would rarely use any of these without adjusting the colour by mixing though. The selection available from Citadel is a bit misaligned with historical schemes.

Funny most of the colors you mentioned i was leaning towards plus some others; and as for mixing, your spot on something i'll have play with. thanks again any other combos i'm interested in reading
Mate Ive been using Citadels all along, in my humble opinion they are the finest paints on the market, however their range is not Naval friendly, there are some that match perfectly to some schemes, yet others are way off and like some of the fellas have already mentioned you will need to mix and match to the desired shade you require. My "Paint Along with Danaussie" tutorial is a good place to start, even though is it not quite finished yet, but the paints are covered there.
If you are not hot about mixing colours like me, I prefer to paint straight outa the pot (bit lazy like that) I don't prepare a wet palette like many of the pro artists here do, you can save your old paint pots as I do, clean them out and prepare a new shade to use later. You used to be able to buy empty paint pots although I believe they stopped this practice, but look online for something along this line they will come in handy to have.
My mainline grey is Administratum Grey (light grey), this is darkened to make various shades, Dawnstone (dark grey) can be slightly lightened to make even more shades. If I were starting out Id buy the following:
3 x Administratum Grey (keep one pure, mix the others to lighter or darker) 3 x Dawnstone (keep one pure mix the others to lighter or darker) 3 x White Scar 2 x Abaddon Black 1 x Bestial Brown (not called this now, but this for deck base coat) 1 x Ushabti Bone (Teak decks mid-tone) 1 x Screaming Skull (Teak Decks Hi-light) 2 x The Fang (US Decks and camo measures, keep one pure and lighten the other) 2 x Nuln Oil (Black/brown wash) 2 x Reikland Fleshade (red\brown wash)
When you are shopping the most important thing to remember is that you need a darker shade of any colour and then you need a hi-light colour of same, when preparing camo measures just try to think ahead of the colours you will need to prepare. Start with this good core pack of greys and browns the rest you can pick up in one pot or two as you go.
Good luck mate
