It's been a while since I've played so if I try to do something wrong please let me know.
Do you want to do random commander and nation specific to that commander except Hector Waller (Australia) allowed to use British ships?
I’m reading a book about HMAS Canberra. At the beginning of the war the Australian navy was virtually just an extension of the British navy which is why we performed so poorly. So yes Australian and British ships would be fine.
What if we list -
1) Campioni 2) Doorman 3) de Zara 4) Hartman 5) Auboyneau 6) Waller
I thought he was German too, but I'm good with Netherlands using Commonwealth units if that helps fleet construction.
Philippe Auboyneau - France 1 Gunther Lutjens - Germany 2 Werner Hartmann - 3 Alberto De Zara - Italy 4 Inigo Campioni - Italy 5 Hector Waller - Australia 6
Commander: This unit is attached to a friendly ship in the deployment phase. If that ship is destroyed or removed from the map, this unit is removed from play. Aggressive: All flagship values on friendly ships are negated and you get -1 on your roll when rolling initative. Breakout: Local friendly ships have +1 when making a concealment roll
Commander: This unit is attached to a friendly ship in the deployment phase. If that ship is destroyed or removed from the map, this unit is removed from play. Confusion - Each time a friendly cruiser or destroyer makes a gunnery attack against a enemy ship that has not been attacked this turn. Roll an additional gunnery die on that attack Torpedo Evasion - If this unit is damaged by an enemy ships torpedoes, roll a die. On 5-6 the attack is ignored.
