I looked this up last night and didn’t get around to posting it. Swordfish with Deceptive Target are aborted and destroyed basically at the same rates as a 4/7/1 aircraft.

Maybe, but the point cost of the Swordfish is still way too high. We based the Deceptive target one on the original ones point cost, and the set 1 version was waaaaaay over opted to begin with.
No, this needs to be under 10 points, 7-8 preferably...
Upon reflection, I'm not thrilled by this. Based on my personal experience of (especially, whole vinducator swarms evaporating against balanced fleets) i don't trust her to actually make attacks often enough to be worth it. Avoiding destruction just doesn't do anything to get you to the win, in the way making an attack does. Its not a question of power or survivability, so much as predictability.
I'd honestly rather have a 1die "screw you" torpedo against the unit that shot me down over determined attack.
However, if we're collectively of the opinion this will get her onto the tables, we can accepted Theteteaus and Au64's move to adopt

Its got the raw stats of a 6 point pb and the attack stats of a 10 point attack plane. Theyre just at odds
I'm confused about this now and not sure where this is heading. The swarm ability obviously requires several swordys to trigger the latter part of it and you're right about the potential large torpedoe dice after stacking with other stuff but I still don't see many getting through. Even with numbers deployed, with nothing protective wise on the card they will be shot down easy as - or easier.
"That's right son, join the navy. Get behind a bloody big gun and knock the hell out of somebody"
"We went out, got our arses kicked, then came back again"
The swarm idea is worthy discussing but its 2 sa's in a trenchcoat atm.
Biplane Overstack, Recon overstack are existing SAs. Just adding recon overstack would be great. +1 cap for cap2 carriers. [Chef's kiss] restrict it to uk carriers though. Because essex et al.
Attack group overstack is another question. Though the idea has merits. Deratw attacks by 1 but have a extra unit attacking is a good concept
But why keep it at 2 or more? The UK has a lot of 2 or less carriers but I think only 2 or 3 cap 3 ships? Make it for ships with CAP 2 or Less, that would let it cover those early war ships that actually carried Swordfish...

I was 5hroeing up some ideas to see what stuck.
It occured to me like 5 seconds after i posted the solution
FAA Overstack - A UK Carrier with a basing capacity of 3 or fewer can base one additional Aircraft that has this ability.
