So, in 1939 and 1940 there are 24 bombers (patrol, dive, and torpedo) that are available in the game up to now.
All of them are Armor 3 or 4 except for the Sparviero (armor 5) All are Vital Armor 4, 5, 6, and 7 except four of them with Vital 8
In 1941-42 there are 43 bombers of all types (almost twice as many)
Now 8 of them are Armor 5 (the rest 3 or 4) Now 13 of them are Vital Armor 8 and one is Vital 9 (the blasted Avenger)
In 1943-45 there are 16 bombers
None are Armor 3, five are Armor 4, and 11 are Armor 5 None are Vital 4 or 5, one is Vital 6, two are Vital 7, nine are Vital 8, and three are Vital 9
I think you can see why I don't think a ship should have AA 8 or above in 1939. The Sparviero appears in 1940 and is an outlier IMO (it should have been Armor 4) The Armor 5 bombers don't start showing up until 1941 and onward.
The fact is the Royal Navy was getting pounded by aircraft from 1939 through 1941. They had awful (virtually useless) High Angle Fire Control systems and really didn't start getting decent control of AA batteries until 1943.
In 1939 and 1940 there are 11 ships with AA 8. They are all Battleships except two Carriers (Illustrious and Formidable) 32 Ships have AA 7. Only two of them (Nelson and Cavour) has an AA enhancing SA

Not sure how much room is left on text the but what about fought off instead of battled an. Possibly overall before force commander and maybe sunken instead of sunk destroyer. Could cut off dive bombers and just have stukas on the third last line if needing characters, as its already been used.

I saw that one and normally would have used it because I prefer camo shots too. But I was afraid the background noise would make it hard to see on the card. The photos are very small.
What do you think? Should I change it?

I made the changes except for "overall." The reference indicates there were several "Forces" operating in the area and there were several command hand-offs as they combined and separated. Probably the reason the Force commander at the moment was unaware of the ammunition shortage.

I would say try it and we'll see how it looks. Its certainly the image that comes to mind with Gloucester in its med camouflage. The standard paint job I more associate with home fleet duties and other towns like Sheffield, Glasgow, etc.

I posted it with the camo photo. What do you think?
