That depth charges were fitted wasnt in doubt, the make up of the asw fitout is the bit thats unclear.

For consideration;


Minesweeping, once per game, you may reroll the die when a friendly ship within range 2 of this unit is damaged or destroyed by a mined sector (Carl Peters/R-Boats)

In addition, i think either

BLOCKADE DUTY: This unit rolls one extra attack die when making Main Gunnery attacks against Ships that are on your side of the map. (HMNZS Gambia)

Or

TOUGH CRUISER 1: Whenever an enemy Destroyer or Fighter makes a Gunnery attack against this unit, this unit gets +1 armor against that attack.

Historically she didnt really do much beyond being a patrol and escort ship. Both the suggested abilities fall into the gimme territory based on that.
Theres a gameplay case to give both and the mines ability because brazil is weaker than the two other south american powers on the basis of the weakest battleships and no better cruisers

I would prefer tough cruiser as it is more likely to be used (blockade duty seems like a more passive ability).
