Seattle is something different, rather than another reprint/sister.
Some people like filling out classes and others like new things.
I'm not expecting the Seattle to be the old armored cruiser. Though there wasn't another USS Seattle till the replenishment ship in the 1960's. I did find a USS Seattle, a super-Des Moines, that appears to be part of the Warships game. It can't be that ship.
I'll guess the Seattle is either one of the unselected cruiser designs that the USN studied, or the old armored cruiser as an installation.
Armoured cruiser as a ship. Presumptively shes been retained or reactivated to actice service I'd have prefered Olympia but she was disarmed.
I just wanted to chime in with a few thoughts, I have finally had time to review this proposal list,
HMS Malaya - I really am glad this got as much support as it did, I think it's a unit that offers its own unique-ness to the class to warrant representation, she didn't get a reconstruction between the world wars and had a different secondary battery, plus her actions in bombardment or driving off Scharnharst/Gneisenau give her some SA potential.
USS Hornet remake - I've wanted one of these for so long, the Dolittle Raid SA always felt lackluster or so scenario-specific that I've never fielded the Hornet in any of my games, I'd love to correct that.
Colossus class CVL for Australia will give some good openings for AU heavy builds for south pacific games, I like the idea of trying to fill some potential spots in fleets that didn't have proper CVs, since it really can hamper your scenario setups, even if they are 'what-if' ships or have to be altered to fit within the confines of the game.
I do wish an early version of the Mikuma made it to further consideration, just because a dual-purpose main battery would give Japan a comparable unit to the Atlanta's AA and escort pace in games.
Overall I think it's a solid list with a lot of solid additions that I can see filling my ranks out with.

In terms of the UK subs, the request was for a cheap early war T class. Triton already has the 39 date so I would envisage Truant shaving a couple of points or so off the formers cost(Triton should have been 14 points if I remember what weeds said correctly). Truant is probably the best known of the first batch of T boats and one of the few to survive the war. It fought all three axis powers within the first three years of war, crippling Leipzig and then after numerous patrols in the Med attacking Japanese invasion shipping. It had a veteran reputation for surviving depth charge attacks from which other boats would have been lost. It also had the rare distinction of doing two tours of duty (18 months apiece) without a home refit in between(US). By the last year of war its engines had been worn out and it spent the remainder as a trials boat including for snorkels. Like Warspite, it broke free of its tow on the way to the breakers...Truant to the end! To keep the points cost low, something like Fearless Veteran would suffice and leave be (TBD). In hindsight this would have been a better choice instead of Triton, as the latter didn't have near the same war. Also the UK is at least one or two subs down on where it should be at this stage. The original sets were sorely lacking and I think one team deck lacked a sub. We should have had a second U and/or S boat by now (Urge, Unbroken..).
Going back to the Tribal, I'd presume this would negate CAN/AUS getting one, can't see two in the same deck. Guessing a Flower class and Yarra for them. Also still thinking any theme(if its including hidden units only) must be Med themed due to the only sizeable axis gap being Italy (plus the original second starter was pacific already), so either a Malta or a Convoy theme. The UK needs a more functional auxiliary, the three we've had are all scenario really based units. Something to potentially boost and affect a normal game, torpedo/speed tender option, fly off strike, AA defence ship etc.
Just commenting on #44 on Flackstruck’s last list. I’m not sure which version is being proposed. Assuming that will get worked out when the card is worked on. 2nd most important two engine bomber behind the Pe 2 which is in the game already.
Lend lease was crucial for the Soviets but I’d like to see more of the successful Russian designs.
MIG 3 would have been another good option for a 1941 release. It wasn’t great but neither is the lend-lease hurricane.
My preference is the SM2-100A as that would be available to both SCW factions.
That said i dont imagine we'll see a reissue of this aircraft so it may incorporate a number of variant features. It will depend on development in the new year
Ahoy, ive asked the team to review your feedback and to give a final review of the list. You can continue giving feedback her until the finalised list is posted.
Voting was never intended to be first past the post for set entry. It was clearly stated on a number of occassions a weightinh that would guide but not force a units inclusion where deck balance, either on power scaling or balance between casual/historical/collector/gamer interests
Just noticed the Leyte Gulf Kongo, I like that as I always felt the Kongo got surpassed by other units in the class so this could be a solid chance to breathe some new life into it.
