Hi All, I recently acquired a playable Polish army, infantry, Cavalry & some vehicles & am wondering if they had machine guns & can they use the Vickers? Also am looking for a couple Polish Officers, don't have the actual piece, can make a card & proxy but would like to have a couple. I might have trade fodder or $$$. Thanks for any help here & Happy Gaming!
No they don't have a machine gun in the game. The closest thing you will have is the 7tpdw tank. 2/2 of armor but since they are 1939, it is similar to most vehicles.

Technically, I you do not build a pure Polish army, nothing prevents you from doing it. However, none of the mentioned MGs are available in 1939. Also, you will not get the single nationality bonus points when you build your army.
As you said, they had a license built Browning & after further research in other sources, it was verified it was built pre war & chambered in 7.92. As for the machine guns being available pre 1939, they were, the 1939 date is merely WotC limitation & omissions aplenty.

WotC left a lot of units unpublished....enough to make at least 2 more booster sets....artillery & armor would be nice to see reprinted. Thanks again for the MG card.

I was refering to "Officials Rules and cards" but you are right, they were made before, just no "official cards" exist with a 1939 availability. Game is out of print for a while so in my humble opinion, you do what you want with it to have fun / interesting scenarios as long as both players agree.
Not a problem & I'm sure both players would agree as well. The custom cards fill some nice holes in countries that get some to use. Keeping it fun & interesting is the idea....Happy Gaming!
