As infantry support protecting their flanks and rear from enemy infantry and light vehicles (but not Artillery or Tanks). Or as extra fire power for scout vehicle team of armored cars, motorcycles and either kubblewagons (axis) or jeeps and/or universal carriers (allies).
So here I was laughing about the tankette when I made this topic... but behold the TKS Ursus Tankette! In Early was games, they can be surprising!
Now the stats are not great at first glances, but I played a game against a Russian opponent and I was able to chew through his T-28s by flanking each one of them! Speed 4 vs speed 2 really make a difference when the armor of the big tank is 4/2, even if the TKS's gun is weak.
