As I was taking pictures of this, I saw I need to make a couple of quick updates to clean up some things. And, I thought, it really needs some portholes to break up the sides. So, while this isn't 100% complete, it's good enough to go ahead and share it. I also realized as I was painting it, I accidentally swapped the Measures between Bunker Hill and Hancock...Bunker Hill doesn't appear to have actually had MS 22...sigh.

Bunker Hill
Here with Hancock and Essex...both recent recipients of decals:
I did a pin wash, so no vertical really received the wash, just the corners. So, the starboard side got a wash along the lengths of the indents (4th pic) and there is a lower area connected to the deck where all the AA guns are that got a wash. This sort of thing works better when you have the gloss varnish on as the wash naturally sucks into the cracks and crevices.
One of the things I noticed was I got a little sloppy around the bridge. I'll touch those up along with the barrels of the 5/38s. I admit I like most of my ships to look new and shiney!
