There are so many miniatures out there that not every one of them is a winner. Maybe it’s useless in game play. Maybe it underperforms for you or overperforms for your opponent. Did they botch your favorite’s sculpt? Never should have made it to begin with? It could be that you tried to paint it and rage quit.
I am never sure how to use Vainamoinen. I really want it to be good, but it often gets vitalled or torpedoed (Ilmarinen is helping with that now), and it is not at all a Suffren (or any other European stat-block cruiser). Sackville also spoiled me for how small and ungainly the Type 13 is.

The unit I most hate is the Dauntless. It’s just so hard to protect IJN carriers when press the attack exists on that thing. The mini I most hate is any of the misshapen IJN cruisers or the Bismarck/Tirpitz.
I second the Bizmarck/Tirpitz minis, I mean come on the turrets don't even rotate properly without modifications.
Gameplay-wise CVEs are borderline useless for me. It's so much easier to work around a 10-15 point higher CV versus justify using a CVE that I really don't bother with them unless it's a specialized convoy scenario.
Yeah, I'm going third on the Bismarck/Tirpitz, thought not for the guns but for the weirdly angled hull. Makes them look like a toy sailboat. I'd get my own and paint them up but my painting skills are not great.
Another sculpt I have some issue with is Caio Duillo. From what little research I've done it should be comparable to the Guilio Cesare in size, but its in game model is tiny. I'm almost embarrassed to bring it out, and I play solo most times.

The sculpt is ugly. This has destroyer guns but no ASW, and it’s only slightly more survivable than a Fletcher-class destroyer. The design was outmoded when it was built. The torpedoes are so poor that it’s an afterthought rather than a primary weapon. The names are gross. Sorry if you’re named Richmond, but that’s not pretty. I get that it was the capital of the Confederacy, but it’s not a pleasant word. Marblehead is something a third-grader tries as a retort when he gets called a doody-face the first time.
I think the length they used was for the ship before it was modernized.
Maybe...
Another mini I have issue with is the Kaga. I don't know what it is about that ship, but for some reason I feel that it should be bigger. It isn't small, I've put it alongside Akagi and Shokaku and it's at least somewhat comparable, but when I look at it I think "that's way too small for a fleet carrier".
