Just curious if anyone has had issues with Old Glory UK's Little Flying Fokkers line of 15mm aircraft. Are Shapeways (or Armaments in Miniature) a better way to go?

Hello Bill, I have the following aftermarket types: Old Glory LLF Wirraway (which I haven't finished yet; a few posts down the page) Shapeways Boomerang AIM Hellcat, P40E, Defiant and P-47 Thunderbolt
Of the three, I would prefer the AIM products in terms of manufacture and finish. So if AIM have what you're looking for, I'd go with them.
The only other LLF I would try are the CR-42, PZL 11, MiG 3 and Gladiator. Only because no one else does them and Shapeways is a bit expensive from this side of the world.

Hope this helps.
Hey, thanks for the info. What is Old Glory LLF? The only definition for LLF I could find was "laughing like f***"! (Scrub this -- just figgered out LLF is Lil FLyin' Fokkers...) I am a HUGE AIM fan, and have several of Dave's He-111, Do-17, Helldiver, Defiant, Nate and CR.42. (Also have a Drachen for Wings of Glory WWI) I've also picked up I-15s from Shapeways. I liked the Gloster Gladiators from Old Glory UK, and the Beaufighter and V-1 I'm working on are fine. I ordered two SM.79s and they were unbuildable without using a bench grinder (which I do not have). And one out of two of the Bristol Blenheims was similarly unbuildable. But when I sent an email saying that I was returning them for refunds, I got an abrupt reply saying they would do so, but that they wanted no further correspondence from me. Period. Just wondered if they are amidst a meltdown of some sort... I'm looking at a Shapeways Blenheim that is only slightly more expensive than the Old Glory product. I haven't sniffed around for an SM.79, but will...
Bill
