Here are some ships I've finally finished painting. I'll never figure out how other painters get details like wing flags or emblems to work on these tiny planes. The German carrier is from Squint; the planes and IJN cruisers are form XPForge.

Some addiontial models: The HMS Howe, which has nothing to do with Flakstruk's poll but everyone who voted Anson is wrong. Also the HMS York, and IJN heavy cruiser Mikuma from Tiny Thingamajigs on Shapeways.

Nice minis!

What I have also seen done is print the flags on paper, glue paper to aluminum foil, then cut flags out and crinkle them to desired angles/to look wavy, and glue to mast.

Takes a minute to do, but worth it imo with some practice
Also really love the Treste! Looking mighty fine!
