I bought them. They are sold by a company on eBay called K4 Decals. They specialize in making model train decals (K4 is a reference to a class of Pennsylvania Railroad steam locomotive), but they also make a line of stripe decals in various widths. I purchased a set in 1/16", 1/32", and 1/64" to see which ones would work best. The 1/16" are way too big for this scale, but might work on 1/1200 or larger models. The 1/32"(0.8mm) will work for a number of flight deck applications. The ones I used here came from the 1/64" (0.4mm) set. Here is the listing:
The stripes aren't printed on separate backings; you have to separate them from the whole sheet with an Xacto and a steel ruler. No really a big deal since we're talking straight lines here, but it bears mentioning. I used two stripes from the sheet for this Ranger; they are long enough that one stripe will easily go bow to stern on even the largest 1/1800 scale decks. So, one sheet will easily give enough to do several carriers, depending on whether you need to do 2 or 3 stripes on each one.
