I'd like to mix things up a little and try a match with two teams of two fighting it out over a larger map.
Each player gets 150 points to build their task force, picks a deployment area (Black, Blue, Yellow, or Red) based on their set up roll.
A few special rules:
Class limits are in effect, and apply to the each team
To speed things up, each team has a maximum of 8 aircraft units they may buy, but seaplane detachments are not included in this
Ships may deploy in the solid rectangle, and subs and installations in the dotted rectangle, including in the half hexes like G1
Long Range rule for aircraft are in effect
Each player will make a separate set up roll, and may pick any area to start in, so teams may start diagonal or across from each other. Initiative will also be done per player (so adding a spoiled tie breaker by default would probably be good).

Also, Yellow has an extra hex to deploy in for balance purposes. Teams will be assigned randomly once we have four players. Once teams are determined, it would be good to coordinate fleet builds to stay with aircraft and class limits. Fleets can be submitted by each team for ease in the same way they are submitted for two-player games (i. e. one team submits their fleets to a mod, other team posts their fleets under a spoiler)
I am open to time of day conditions (night, dawn, dusk) especially since the game will probably last 5 or more turn, though if no one wants a special condition I will stick with day time.
