Like Hap above, I have more Swordfish Mark IIs than anything (though not 35). I never played this game until after WoC stopped making it, so most of my collection has come from Ebay lots, swapping, etc. I of course end up with a few oddities that way. I end up with a lot of subs - I have double digits of I-19 and U.S.S. Barb. Interestingly, I also have 5 Richelieus and 6 Shohos, even though I'm really just trying to get one of most ships. I need some multiple on airplanes and small units, of course. That seems to take care of itself, though, when buying lots that have a capital ship I am missing in them.
I drew an absurd number of Essex and Intrepid from off-shelf boosters back in the day, just by knowing how to shake the box and listen to the timing between the top-out and bottom-out impacts. To this day, if you give me a sealed booster from either set that had that sculpt, I can tell you with 90%-plus-range confidence in there's one in that box.
Also, I received a mispainted Princeton from WOTC, which I proceeded to repaint into MS23 complete with countershading--some of the guys at GenCon 2008, 2010 and 2012 saw this in-person. Guess which one ALWAYS got pulled when my fleet needed a light carrier?

My collection is mostly mundane...I did manage to pick up a few minis painted by Danaussie and JFKziegler, though; I have a definite fondness for those units!
