I came to the conclusion that no one has made a custom card for the land based variant of the Hawker Hurricane. This is my take on a card for it. It was used as an interceptor like the Spitfire Mk. I during the Battle of Britain.
Hurricane Mk. I
Hawker 1939
Statistics:
Introduced: 25 Dec. 1937
Wingspan: 40 ft.
Length: 32 ft, 3 in
Speed: 404 mph max.
Service Ceiling: 36, 089 ft.
Range: 460 miles
Production #’s: 3, 164
Armament: 8 x 7.7mm (0.3 in) MG’s
History:
The Hawker Hurricane is a British single-seat fighter
aircraft of the 1930s–40s that was designed and
predominantly built by Hawker Aircraft Ltd. for
service with the RAF. It was overshadowed in the
public consciousness by the Supermarine Spitfire's
role during the Battle of Britain in 1940, but the
Hurricane inflicted 60 per cent of the losses
sustained by the Luftwaffe in the engagement,
and fought in all the major theatres of WWII.
Hurricane Mk. I
Aircraft—--Fighter 1939
SPEED----A (5)pts
Attacks: 0
MG: 2
AA: 7
A: 5 VA: 8 HP: 1
Land Fighter: This unit can’t be based on a Carrier
and it can’t benefit from the expert dogfighter
bonus.
Rugged: When an enemy unit rolls successes
equal to this units vital armor and would
destroy it, roll a die. On a 4 or higher, abort
this unit instead.
Interceptor: If there are no Fighters in the
same sector as this unit, this unit rolls x1
attack die when making AA attacks against
enemy Bombers.
Scramble Defense: Once/game, you may
remove a rearming counter from this unit.
If you do, this unit can only be placed on
your side of the map.
