Does it cost to actually run the x-ray machine, or are the bills just a proration of the cost of the machine?
Good question, on the old days I could not have done this as the film was very expensive. Now that we are all digital though, it does not cost anything. I’ll upload the next batch tonight. Looks like an aircraft carrier, a Sunderland, some corsairs, and something with 3, 3 gun turrets.
This has to win an award for best thread recently!
It looks like the Google Image drive needs to grant one access to view. Have you tried postimages.org? I learned about it here and it's very easy to use (and then you can even put the pic right in the thread post). Plenty of people here can give you pointers if you need them!
Ok, I think I have all of them positively identified. I posted the cheapest price on ebay and its shipping amount in () for comparison to the previous list.
Box #5 $25.73 ($18.90) 1. Giorgios Averof $7.00 ($4.90) 2. Vainamoinen $2.25 ($3.50) 3. USMC Corsair $10.00 ($3.50) 4. Murasame $2.50 ($3.50) 5. USS Allen M. Sumner $3.98 ($3.50)
What do you guys think? I am thinking I will open box #3 and Box #4 and sell the rest. All booster packs were purchased for $35 shipped
P.S. Man, what a whiff on Box #5
P.S.S.
Box from a few days ago $34.74 ($18.69) 1. Royal Royal Oak or Arkangelist $22.49 ($4.70) / $21.00 ($3.50) 2. Z506B Airone $5.99 ($3.49) 3. Z32 $2.48 ($3.50) 4. S-37? $1.00 ($3.50) 5. D520 $2.78 ($3.50)
Each! Hard to believe the going rate is 233% of the original price! However, even with these Condition Zebra boosters, which are generally regarded to be the worst (right?), you can see several of the packs were worth it compared to the price of individual units. I was not really expecting to be able to break even if I opened these, that's a nice bonus. One would think you could do even better going after bigger fish in more popular booster sets.
