Hello, I just discovered this game a while back and I think its great. A friend gave me a Condition Zebra Booster Pack and it got me thinking... I bet you could see what's inside with an X-ray. I think I have identified the Rare and Uncommon units from this pack, and the 3-plane aircraft unit, but I thought it might be fun for you guys to guess at. What a shame you can't go to the store and buy one of these for $15 any more.
My interpretation. I will send you my radiology bill in the mail.
Rare: Royal Oak or Arkangelisk
Uncommon: Z.506 Airone
Common: Z32
Common: Submarine - I will guess S-37.
Common: D.520 fighter
I think you nailed it! I couldn’t believe we could tell exactly which ship they were, I thought it would be close, but not 100%. Were Royal Oak and Archangelist really identical?

They were sister ships. Arkangelisk was originally HMS Royal Sovereign. They were definitely the same mould in the game.
I wish I had access to this when I was standing in the aisle, discount coupon in hand, at the local Borders Books, trying to decide what booster was worth buying. The ever present dilemma, go with the one that weighs more or the one that rattles less??? Sometimes, I just had to go crazy and buy both. A week later, repeat the process when they had restocked.
Thanks guys! Awesome info. I have been a big fan of WWII history and have a large group of friends who play board games to this day so I don’t know how I missed this game. Oddly enough, $100 for a ship is probably more affordable than $10 was back then so it’s probably for the best.
