Hi everyone. I’m getting back into the game after a break of about 10 years. Very cool to find this forum! The resources page has already helped a lot. A couple of questions:
- Sorry if this has been discussed, but has anyone found good, generic hex maps that can be used with this game? I always thought A&A was a little short on maps and besides, I want to experiment with more “extreme” terrain options (a map that’s mostly forest, etc.) I’m not finding much online so far but I don’t really know where to look. Even something appropriate from another game might be interesting.
- I guess this is inevitable, but some units seem hard to come by these days. Where are you folks finding fresh stock when the game’s been out of print so long?

Thanks, everyone, for the great resources and the warm welcome! Quarantine encouraged me to start playing again, ha.
And I had no idea there were so many maps - I had only grabbed a couple of the map packs, and tracked down the Historic Battlefronts for France 1944 and Stalingrad. Great to see there’s so much more out there!
