I love XPForge, far better quality (vs the white natural plastic imo) at way better prices than shapeways. ($9.99 for shapeways shipping alone!)
My latest XPF order arrived the other day, I bought their Lexington class BC, Myoko, Maya and Kongo. Nice Weeds, I rather do like the approach they took with the P class as well.
I've got a bunch of ships on the paint table, can't wait to share them.
Finally placed an order with these guys, and the ships are awesome. These things have a level of detail that you just don't find outside of the expensive metal ships from places like GHQ, and they're far crisper than the metal ones can be. I've got some bowing, but most of the ships are thin enough that I'll be able to minimize it just by gluing them to a stiff base. HMS Furious is more noticeable though, does anyone know if the resin prints respond to boiling water the way other plastics do?

Here's a message from Tim of XPForge about this sort of thing:
Yes, you can soak it for 5 to 8 minutes in 100 degree (F) water and it should be pliable.
Thanks,
Tim
This was in response to questions about masts and islands, but I imagine it should apply to bowing (although it might take more than 8 minutes for the very thick...).
I've also used a hair dryer on a cast iron pan for a minute or so. Just need it to start being pliable. I snapped a renown trying to bend without heating so I'm a tad more careful now 😉.
