If you are looking to convert War At Sea (or the other AA Air Battles) to a Star Wars Starship game, you may want to see if you can hunt down a copy of the old Star Wars Miniature: Starship Battles. This was put out by WotC back in 2006 and each miniature came with a stat card and was played on a grid (sound familiar?). This might save you some time.

It looks like the card system is fairly different on that game, a bit more event driven. I think axisfan67 was looking for the combination of stats and special abilities using the war at sea format. When I played war at sea the first time, my immediate reaction was that game system would make for a great space combat system. I was thinking Babylon 5 at the time. I never tried converting the system but did find some Babylon 5 ship models on shapeways. It does look like the earlier Star Wars game could have provided some influence to RB though.
