We did forget to announce Admirals. Did you still want to use them? I have mine picked out...
My fleet is under the command of John Tovey.

Ok, after reading his card, I’m really regretting my idea of using the admirals, especially without flagships. I don’t want to sit through five consecutive games in which I always set up first, and automatically lose the first five consecutive turns.... or is this not as bad as I think it is? The aircraft armor boost is also crazy good.

You don't automatically lose the first five turns, you just lose INITIATIVE the first five turns. Which sets you up beautifully to use smoke, if you wanna. Setting up first means I can react to your placement, but it also means you get to choose which side of the map to claim, which has advantages, especially with Installations in play.
The aircraft armor boost is only for the first turn, but yeah, it's good.
That said, we can leave Admiral cards out if you prefer. You were the one who wanted to use 'em! I'm fine without.

I just don't like the idea of having the same commander for all five games I guess. I think I'd like to use admirals for some single games maybe, but not for escalation if that's alright.

So no Admirals this time. Well, that does kind of tweak my strategy, but on the other hand, the beauty of this format is, you get to adjust every new round. So we'll just roll with it.
