Painted three of my newest arrivals.... no pictures since I am a Luddite when it comes to tech and not sure what to do on photobucket need step by step instructions or a Youtube tutorial.
Don't use Photobucket. It is a fee-based site now. Most of us use postimage.org (url is actually postimages.org) because it is free and very simple to use. Just create an account and then click on "Upload" in the top menu bar. Then click on the big "Choose Images" button and a standard file explorer-like window will open so you can click on the file on your PC that you want to upload. That's it. Once you have done that you can click on the "share" icon above the photo and copy a link that you can paste into a post on this board.
I suggest you take it one step at a time. Create an account and them upload some photos. The web page interface is extremely spartan on purpose so there isn't much to distract you. (Nor is there any help, but that is the trade-off I guess.)

You got it posted okay and the link works when I click on it. You are very close! When you click on the "share" icon you should get a menu with eight or so options. Try the second link up from the bottom (Hotlink for forums). That should cause the photo to appear in your post.

Have been painting mostly planes and posting pics to the Facebook page. For IJN, Frances, Claude, Hamp, Tony, Oscar, and Judy, PBM Mariner, P-38, B-17, PV1 Ventura, Skuas, Wellingtons, Sea Gladiators, Fairey Fulmars, Ju-290, Me-410 , He-177, SeaFires, CR42 Falcos, and a lone Von Der Tann upgraded Panzerschiffe. I'm all out of bases and flight stands till Reacher wraps up my order. I figure 150 new flight stands will get me thru my plane backlog.
Worked on some bases I got from Reacher last week. Cleaned and crayoned and got the minis mounted for a bunch of US and German aircraft. Pics to follow soon.

Played 200 point IJN match vs. my little boy with 300 points USN a couple of weeks back. I don't let him win, but he got me that time. Didn't have enough points for a battleship, and I could barely scratch the Iowa. So at the end of a very bloody battle, I was left with several flying squadrons (he sunk my carriers) and he was left with a couple of flying units (I also sunk his carriers) and the Iowa. I'm getting him this next time, though. I'm playing Japan again with 350 points vs. Royal Navy 500 points. I think the RN's lack of late-war BBs will be enough to turn the tide this time.
Dreamed of somebody with money and vision buying the brand and IP out from We're On Total Crack and relaunching it, full reissues of every set with error/powercreep corrections along with new expansions, alongside Ground Game and A20--and getting RB and the band back together to run it.
About as likely as me winning the Powerball, though the latter would bring about the former.
Old Man Pafford (IJN 35) vs. Adm. Sir Caleb G. Pafford (500 RN). In the first three rounds, the IJN lost it's only Jill Sqn, its only Judy Sqn, one of the sea plane units from the Chitose, and the Yukikaze. RN lost Royal Oak, Sheffield, Exeter, Eagle, a Sunderland Sqn, and a Swardfish Mk II Sqn. As usual, Long Lances only hit 1 out of a whole bunch. The Kates have been lethal, though, taking out the Royal Oak and crippling Rodney.

Been out of the loop for years, sold my collection back around early 2011 (around when set V was released) for funds to move and aa dropped off the radar for me. My son recently took a heavy interest in battleships and naval warfare (he loves World of Warships) so my memories of playing WaS with my dad came flooding back. Almost choked when I saw the prices people were selling units I used to have, but still bit the bullet and started buying up a decent collection again. The revised started came in a week ago with a VERY enthusiastic review from my son from the couple games we played, got a "really good deal" on an Iowa, and have about 75% of the german units coming in the mail, with 2-3 of the more expensive ones about to be ordered for my birthday. Plans (and watchlists) have been set to start ordering as much of the British fleet as I can (much cheaper to pick up over the IJN or USN) and keeping hawk eyes out for low bids and good deals on any other rare ships. Happy to be back in the game, missed it dearly.
