Would any of you want to play an online game against me? I’d like to test some things out and actually play the game correctly. Having some more seasoned troops to guide me like you fine folks would be welcome.
My dinosaur tablet doesn't work with the dice roller for some reason...it used to but then it just stopped...stupid device....ugh I reckon it is time to replace it.
I hate to admit this gents, but I bought into the game (V2) in a huge way years ago but have only had a chance to actually play exactly TWICE! And that was years ago. I basically don't know how to play at all at this point.
Fast forward to today. I now have a 8 year old boy who is becoming intensely interested in dinosaurs and...tanks. For now, we're sticking to the game TANKS for obvious reasons, but I'd like to be able to take a little step up to AAM with him at some point. The rub...this knuckle head doesn't remember how to play it! Hard to teach the little man when the big man is clueless.
Maps wouldn't be hard for me (I do it all the time for W@S), but I would need to be coached through an online game or two to get the hang of it. If somebody would be willing to teach us, I'd be happy to play as mnnorthstars' opponent and handle the maps. Assume I know nothing...lots of hand holding required.
I think I might be able to help you guys get a practice game in. I recently got a copy of Photoshop installed on my computer again and while everything regarding online gaming was lost with a hard drive meltdown I did have a few files stored on Photobucket from an old online game from the Underground. The only condition would be that Curtm1911 would need to umpire and advise on rules.
I have the units photoshopped for a Germany Vs UK desert match
I reckon I can help out as needed. Please ask any questions here in this thread so we/I can keep track. Feel free to start a thread in the online game section for the game.
