Eight people showed up for our usual Monday night game; 1942 Eastern Med, England & Commonwealth vs Italy & Germany. Six storm cells, night-time objective action. 125 pts per player with limitations on A/C, Capital ships, and Subs. It was an Italian victory after a shaky start.

It's been almost a year and a half since I've had a chance to play. I still try to occasionally check in and see what y'all are up to, and to see if I need to update my scenario generator for new cards.
I have some ships/planes/subs in more than 6 units, I think I may let go some to newcommers if I go down to 4. I have to check my lists and recount my minis.
The sea gods smiled on me the other night. My group was down to just 2 for the night, and instead of the normal current rubbish he wanted to play WAS. Got in 2 games, my Germans vs his US. The fatherland was victorious both times, though the second game was quite close.

Man, It's been years since real dice touched the table. Last time I played was with a good friend of mine that actually got me into the game around my sophomore year in High School. Hard to believe that was over 5 years ago. It sucks living in a small area where everyone you know has never heard of the game before let alone played it. I've just been collecting and painting. Managed to collect almost every unit and then some. Im afraid the time where these miniatures sit in a closet and are forgotten about is coming soon.
WaS game tonight with four players, IO - 1942 IJN vs UK & Commonwealth; daylight, objective was to destroy three IJN held bases. Allies limited to 100 pts per player, Axis limited to 125 pts per player; NO land based A/C.
Game was over basically by the end of turn two when the Allies did not close but instead bombed the bases destroying two bases... Calling it a victory the Allies withdrew only losing 1 sub. IJN losses were 2 bases, 1 DD, 1 damaged CA, 2 subs, and two A/C.

Seven of us replayed my previous post last night and this time the IJN held off the UK & Commonwealth losing only 1 Mavis a/c and 2 subs... No damage to IJN held bases, IJN Anti-Air batteries and ships in port held off any attempt to destroy the bases...

Another good game last night, five of us played a scenario 1941, IO, IJN vs UK & Commonwealth. The IJN Fuso sank the HMS Ramsies (sic) with one hit at range 3. HMS returned fire and did not roll above a 3. By this time the UK had 1 BB left, 3 DD, 1 CL, and a CV which was burning. IJN had 2 BB, 2 CV and 1 DD when the game was called. IJN victory!!!
