My boosters finally arrived thanks to the CanadaPost strike. But hey, at lease they arrived and heck they actually existed! These were the first 39-45 boosters I have opened, hoping for a Tiger, IS, Pershing or the like. Just hoping for NO planes and all the stuff from the starter sets. These were ordered from the second batch listed by the vendor so hard to tell if they came form the same case as Triggermike, the vendor just noted he had about 35 boosters, don't know if he just opened up a few cases or had loose boosters from several cases laying around. Not sure what to expect except probably not a VC Sherman or King Tiger.
Kind of a mediocre unboxing if you were looking for any heavy armor. The Jadgpanthers are nice but getting two kinda seems like there was more than one case in play. The Japanese and French get a few good tanks too.
Even with several cases in play, that seems like a weird distribution pattern. Three Chi-Ha out of ten boosters, and doubles on three of the rares. I bought a couple of those boosters as well and have not opened them yet. I wonder if ended up with all of the Tigers??
I'd be happy with 3 Chi-Ha's, my Japanese could use them to good effect....still a bit thin in the armor department but getting better though... 3 T34/76's ain't too shabby either, Russian tank swarm anyone......lol Overall, interesting pulls, a couple Chars for the French, EENCO's aplenty & some other infantry to round things out.
It is an odd distribution. Three Chi-Ha and three T-34/76. Four Eagle-Eyed NCOs? I know the Garand Rifles are Common, but I have only encountered one or two in years of collecting. JagdPanthers? I only have one. But Tigers should have turned up. I'll PM you...
Those who don't remember their history are bound to do something or other...
Me too. There are a lot of rares that haven't shown up yet, but I won't jinx him by naming them! I noticed that the seller sold 10 Eastern Front boosters hours after I bought these, unfortunately I never saw them listed.
I’d be happy with an extra Chi-Ha or two! The Jagdpanthers are cool. Guess it all depends what period and theaters each person wants. I admit that an IS or Pershing would have been a sweet treat.
