Trying to get an order going but not much on it at the moment, seems to have slowed down a bit for new stuff, aircraft especially.
Its the quietest year I've had since buying on shapeways, only one order at start of year, so any heads up for new stuff for the various decks much appreciated.

I like what he did with USS Illinois (BB 65), though I don't know if any of those changes where actually planned for the ship. They certainly follow 1945-1946 USN design practices.

I don't know that any of the plans were committed to paper but there were high level discussions, allegedly involving King and Nimitz, about what was wrong with the Iowas and how to fix it on the last two. But then the war ended and tehy started looking at missile conversions instead.
I just ordered 3 ships from his shop, through Tigerman77. The ‘41 Lexington CC, the ‘44 Lexington CC with 20x5”/38s, and a Wichita. The next 6-8 weeks are going to be looooonng waiting for the beauts!
