1941 (or what ever year you want) - no fantasy units that were never commissioned or saw war time service
75 pts per player (Build what ever fleet you want, the only exception is that you must have at least one cargo/troop transport per player)
Objective land your troops on the only terrain feature on the map, an island in the center of the board. If no player can land troops (ship sunk prior to landing troops- takes two turns of land troops one at the island) then the winner is who ever has the most points left at the end of the game.
If some navies do not have troops ships use generic ship for all navies like Gunston Hall or something similar.
Oh yeah - this is a cut-throat game - everyone against every else.
1d8 1 = Russia 2 = Germany 3 = Italy 4 = Japan 5 = Uk & CW 6 = France 7 = US 8 = Netherlands
An alternative to this game is have one player represent the Island defenses with 75 pts as well.
Note: This was a fun game, players were scattered around table equal distance from island (two tables). It was like watching an old board game called "King Maker" alliances were made and broken .
Fun fun game full of laughter and not the usual stressful game we usually had.
Their ship their coffin The cruel dark sea their grave.
