Historical Battlefronts was a private company that produced a series of WOTC endorsed maps for AAM. These included two Stalingrad maps, a French town, a desert map, and the Solomons map. The French town and one of the Stalingrad maps were kind of unique in that each map hex represented 10m (rather than a 100m on most maps). They supported the maps with a series of newsletters, scenarios, and rule tweaks. Sadly, the company folded and left several projects in the development/promised stage. Every once in a while I see these maps come up for sale on EBay, but they usually command a pretty good premium now days.
Dano903 built several of us 3-D pieces that overlaid the 10m Stalingrad map (matching the 2-D terrain/walls printed on the map) and it made for a pretty cool AAM gaming experience.
If you want them, I saved most of the newsletters, scenarios, and such before the web site shut down a couple of years back.
