Anyone had any issue with the 1/100 scale Dahlmann model series? I'm assembling an He-111 and it would have been nice to have the assembly instructions in English. Especially since the clear plastic sprue included items not normally expected to be in clear plastic.

if you have a scan, and the text is in German, i might be able to help out
In fact, the assembly instructions are in a rather unhelpful diagram. Some of the parts are moulded in clear plastic — that makes sense for windows, less so for antenna or propellor shafts, esp. if one is clear and another is beige. There are several clear moulded pieces that could be optional domes for the aircraft, or could be something else. And to cap things, the Balkenkruz are moulded onto the plane's surface, and don't match the accompanying decals. Not complaining (much), just totally amazed at how primitive the model is...

but i can feel your pain when parts have different colours... sounds like they wanted to max out on the moulding space, and raised Balkenkreuzes.... i'd say a design flaw
I don't think the era is an excuse. Remember some of the Monogram and Revell kits from the 1960s -- the kind of reworking that was suggested by modelling magazines or IPMS was fairly minor compared to what would be needed to be done to this one.
