For Germany, I recently discovered the Typ XI project (part of plan Z), looks a bit like what Surcouf was to France, concept of submarine cruisers, that was experimented in WWI and after by Germany and USA.
That would be a really nice variation around the submarine theme

A bit more than a project: Four Type XI boats (U-112, U-113, U-114, and U-115) were laid down in 1939, but cancelled at the outbreak of World War II

Great, that would not even be a fantasy unit *grind*

A cruiser sub. I wondered why the Germans didn't try to build one. It was temporarily the "rage" in naval thinking in the late 20's to early 30's, then fell out favor after a few were built. USS Nautilus was built during that brief "era."

The German had a submarine ban after WWI, they had to run after pace and at the time they were building them, they realized they were obsolete in other navies.
Just adding to the candidates this is one I posted several years go on the old board but maybe initiative is not the right SA maybe a one time move of one sector
“For a u-boat initiative You could always do u-537 and give it a landing SA for Weather Station Kurt which was a secret German automatic weather station it set up in Labrador. If you don't want landing, the option for initiative could be something like once a game "Weather Report - roll a die and if a 5 or 6 you earn 1 initiative" . If in Ottawa you can see the station in the Canadian war museum.”
How about the Nautilus with is deployable divers or the Seaview with it's flying sub...
They would have great SA's but seriously there was a IJN sub that had a hanger which they could open up and deploy a float plane, I think it was late war. I think they were Junsen Mod I, II, III. All had hanger, catapult, and aircraft.
Hello, I'm completely new here, I am just not sure if perhaps this section may be the right place to write this and even sorry for doing this, but I was hoping a person here on forumini.boards.net would be able to guide me. I am just wondering anybody knows any specific trusted provider for cryptocurrency signals. Is this company trusted and anyone worked with them ? futures signals At the same time please tell me any good and comprehensive directory site for more inormation about such services. I appreciate it.
Sorry, but this is the wrong place for that. You necro'd a long past thread. Maybe someone else can help you with cryptocurrency?
The Best Sub I ever heard/read about was USS Tang, Commander Richard O'Kane, 6 War Patrols as I recall...MOH, Circular Run, Formosa Straits...Wahoo also figured in this skipper's history as well...there are 2 for you to include.

I voted Sealion in the nominations. If we had added more detail during the votes, this would have got more attention (we missed a trick here compared to the deck before, it does help for a less scattergun vote and more uniformity if more info is available). Would have been cool to have had an opening salvo with this and the updated Kongo together! The only allied sub BB kill and a DD to boot.
It will be interesting to see if Tang gets some sort of negative/unlucky SA. It would be similar to HMS Trindad getting a card, it's hard to overlook what happened at the end.
Two US subs I say, why not!
